Brief History of the Branch

Faith-Life Temple began in 1995 following a crisis in the local church where the pastor defected and took many members. Rev. Takyi and Rev. Samuel Teiko-Tagoe, then leaders at DGM Essaman, with support from Rev. Bernard Atta Boateng, decided to revive the Kwesimintsim branch through a crusade in December 1995. Starting from a classroom at Kemsco School, the church went through various relocations, including the Takoradi Market Circle, facing legal challenges and structural setbacks.

In 2002, after overcoming land litigation, a permanent structure was developed. In 2010, another threat emerged when the property faced demolition, but leadership swiftly negotiated and acquired a new location, reconstructing the facility. By 2004, the building was completed, with further improvements in 2017 for children’s department and washrooms. Through countless trials, the church has seen God’s favor, growth, and stability.
